Sacred Hearts Nursing Home began as a Convent for the Sacred Hearts Nuns who converted it into a Nursing Home which they operated until 2000.
The forty eight beds are located over two floors in a variety of room sizes providing predominately single and two bedded rooms.
A four-person lift ensures that full access to all areas by our residents is achieved.
Whilst all of our rooms are fully furnished, we do encourage residents to bring with them whatever furniture and artefacts they wish to ensure that they make their rooms their home.
In addition we have two sitting rooms, a large chapel, a hairdressing salon, a visitor’s room, a treatment room and a smoking room for our residents. All of the facilities provided for our residents are ‘wheel-chair friendly’.
For more information on our accommodation and your particular needs or preferences, please contact the home directly and we will be happy to help.
